pAcking is a serious bitch for me. I overpack and it's horrible. I have lines of clothes which may or may not be worn

And fucking camera equipment. Photojournalism taught me to prepare for all situations. I don't even want to say what I'm bringing bc it's embarassing. At least they're different cameras and not all digital right?

I get stressed out travelling and I'm freaking out bc I know my over packing tendencies are ridonkulus.

speaking of places to sleep: how can i convince chase to be up for staying in a hotel in austin for one night? it's really stupid, but the interior is so colorful, bold, beautiful, that i MUSTTT stay the night.

This weekend is Tour de Fat and I am so upset that I'll be missing it b/c of my crappy job.

Chase and I went to Dallas for the UT football game and also the state fair, which I had never even heard of until last year. Anyway the game is held there so we went!

So Chase and I have talked about the possibility of moving next year to a house. He will be graduated and we want pets and unfortunately our cramped one bedroom isn't enough for a border collie and kitten to roam or pee.
I will entertain this idea b/c I want our next place to look spiffy. Right now, it's looking kind of rough b/c I hate the bedroom and I was so busy this summer with work that I never had the chance to renew stuff and make stuff and think about where else stuff could go. As much as I love modern interiors, I would love to have some antiquity with vibrant spots of color that make me feel happy. And holgas of friends and family anywhere I can put them. I'm trying to get chase to whip out his polaroid camera and do a little polaroid project, but I think the film is going to expire before he gets a chance to use it.

I don't know, I think I just like thinking about decorating b/c I have too many ideas in my head and not enough time to execute them in the proper way.

I wonder if Taco Express needs someone to taste their vegetarian tacos to ensure that the the food they're sending out is good.

chase and i went to wimberly and we ended up at blue hole. we then drove through san marcos and went back to austin and ate at matt's.

chase and i finally had a free friday to do critical mass.
a helicopter followed for some of the trip.
cops stopped a couple of bikers.
bikers gave up on riding up hills.
people got pissed off.

i bought these yesterday from wheatsville thinking they'd probably taste nasty. i ate some for lunch and couldn't stop eating them b/c they were so delicious.

anyway, here's breakfast. i had an eight hour day at work today so i wanted to have a big breakfast which was totally stupid b/c i ended up going to which wich.

my school schedule SUCKS for next semester.
tuesday and thursdays i start school at 11 and classes don't end till 8 pm.
the rest of my days i have a science class and a photo lab.
then i have a job to keep.
and i have tests i have to do before i can apply for upper-division.
and against the advice of my advisor i decided to repeat a class just for personal knowledge.

blargh.

since i'm primarily using lj for food entries and learning food photography through trial and error, here's the lunch i had yesterday.
these will probably be the last food pictures for a while since i killed my lens.
at least there's been some food photo progress?

i've really slacked off on picturing food b/c of a lack of groceries and the lack of time that i have to do something that i actually like doing.
hopefully in the coming weeks i will make a wheat crust for rosemary potato pizza and attempt to make a vegan focaccia bread.

life has been super busy.
